Description
By the end of the 2000s, the administration of SSU aimed to have a broader impact as an educational institution and increase student enrollment by offering online courses when the demand was at its highest. The university was one of the firsts in the region to address the need of online education services.
Challenge
SSU required a team that had experience in building complex software systems and could handle this challenge. After careful consideration, our team was chosen to develop a software to manage the e-learning processes of the University. The software would be designed to deliver educational materials tailored to each student's learning progress and to address technical challenges, such as preventing external assistance during exams through video monitoring systems.
Solution
We successfully developed a custom LMS (Learning Management System) that supports a hierarchical structure for educational materials. It allows assignments to be tailored based on students' group numbers and academic years while automating workflows for teachers and methodologists. Students receive materials in a specific sequence and complete various assignments and tests. Our development efforts significantly enhanced the university's overall growth and helped the university increase its enrollment by 5,000 students.
