Henkel needed a software solution for tracking marketing activities on its competitors' websites.
There were about a hundred websites to analyze, but the manual tracking required too much time and was sensitive to human mistakes.
We have created a system that monitors the competitors’ websites on a daily basis and tracks all the pages that have been changed, published, or deleted, which has drastically reduced the amount of information for humans to analyze. One of the challenges that we faced while working on this project was configuring the system to classify the page changes and filter out those which were non-significant (for example, the date of publication may change at any point in time, which does not necessarily mean the page has been changed itself).
